CYCLIST KILLED

Collision With Car In Deans Avenue

An elderly cyclist suffered injuries from which he later dieef when he was involved in a collision with a car in Deans avenue about 3 p.m. on Saturday. He was William E. Wooddisse, aged 84, of 71 Nursery road, Linwood.

The accident occurred on the corner of Deans avenue and Lowe street. Mr Wooddisse was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital by a JSt. John ambulance and admitted. He died about 6 p.m. y The driver ot the car was Mr Rex Martin.
