Mr W. B. Tenneiit Not Seeking Nomination tNeii . traiana PresiPALMERSTON NORTH, August 18. The Mayor of Palmerston North 'Mr W B. Tennent) announced yesterday that he would not seek nomination for the National Party for the Manawatu seat at the General Election.
Mr Tennent held the Palmerston North seat until the last election when he was beaten by Mi P. O. S. Skoglund (Labour).
