DRAWN GAMES AT ASHBURTON
Overnight rain which continued until late in the morning did not make the grounds slippery for the representative hockey matches between Canterbury and Ashburton. The Canterbury Colts game against Ashburton A was drawn, 4 all, while a Canterbury fourth grade representative team held Ashburton B to a 2-all draw. These results give a fair indication of the evenness of the teams.
