Failure To Keep To Left
"Tli» Press’ special Service ROTORUA, August 18. . Charged with failing to keep aS far as practicable to the left of the road while riding a horse, Patrick Scott pleaded guilty before Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M., in the Rotorua Magistrate’s Court. The charge resulted from a collision bn the - Rotorua-Hamilton highway near Ngongotaha involving a horse ridden by Scott and a car. The police prosecutor, Mr P. A., Byrne, said that the horse was in. the middle of Scott's side of the tarseal "When it was struck from behind tor the car. Scott was taken to hospital. Mr Freeman: Did he have a toil light? Mr Byrne: No, sir. Mt Jrrt'toton: Well, I‘think he bls bean hurt toough. Convicted
