Rock ’n’ Roll Record Broken

(New Zealana Pres, Association) WELLINGTON, July 30. The New Zealand record was passed by Jimmy Kaiwai in the Wellington non-stop rock *n* roll dance marathon at 2 a.m- today. A few minutes later he could continue no longer. He was taken to hospital, but apparently was found to be in. need of nothing more than a good sleep. Kaiwai had danced for more than 49 hours. The time is being claimed as a world record. His performance was virtually nonstop.
