SCHERZO TO SAIL FOR U.S.

Rudder Being Made In Auckland

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 7.

The 16,707-ton Liberian tanker Scherzo is expected to sail from Auckland next Friday for the Texas port of Mobile.

Shore engineers are working around the clock making the rudder that will take the ship on her long voyage. The rudder is being made under surveyors* supervision. A duplicate of the Scherzo’s original rudder will be ready when the ship reaches Mobile.
