MINOR FIRES

An oven fire at 577 Manchester street was attended at 10.9 a.m. on Saturday by a unit from the St. Albans fire station. Mr G. E. W. Kinsman, the occupant of the house, had his car damaged by fire in Major Hornbrook road last Tuesday. When rubbish at 120 McCprmacks Bay road ignited a hedge at 2.2 p.m. yesterday,- no damage was caused. A unit from the Woolston station attended the fire on the property, owned by Mr K. Ching.
