Cathedral Lighting
Sir, —Citizens generally, with a pride in the garden city, and in particular with the much improved appearance of Cathedral square in recent years, must still feel a certain amount of disappointment over one defect in the lighting of the Cathedral. One would think that any flbodlighting attempted would give the entrance to the Cathedral priority, but against the contrasting brightness elsewhere the entrance facing west looks at night dismal indeed. The extra cost would be immaterial, and thousands, no matter of what denomination, would be pleased to see this omission made good.—Yours, etc., FLAMBEAU. July 4, 1957.
