The object and purport of the proposed By-Law is to repeal the scale of water charges for the Hororata Water Race District as set out in Selwyn County Council Water Supply By-Law No. 1. 1949, and substitute therefore a new scale of charges as follows: where the unimproved value of the land is less than £7 per acre the charge shall be 7Jd per acre, where the unimproved value is £7 and less than £l3 per acre the charge shall be lOd per acre, where the unimproved value is £l3 and more per acre the charge shall be lid per acre.
A full copy of this By-Law Is der posited at the County Office, Hororata, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours until July 15, 1957.
The Special Order will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the said Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Hororata. at 1.15 p.m. on Monday, July 15. 1957.
