Net profit of Prestige (New Zealand), Ltd., for the year ended March 31 was £26,376, after providing for depreciation and taxation, compared with £20,573 for the previous year.
Preference dividends take £ 1800, and the directors recommend an annual ordinary dividend of 10 per cent., which will require £18,162, compared with £18,006 required by the dividend at the same rate last year. The carryforward rose from £10,373 to £16,787.
The directors report that trading conditions were difficult during the first half of the year, but improved in the latter part.
