From Australia

Three Border Leicester ewes have arrived in New Zealand from Australia for Mr John G. Gunn, of “Braemore,” Darfleld. The ewes come from the stud of Mr A. F. Lloyd. “Thornbury Park,” Cherry Garden, South Australia. There are two oneshear and one two-shear In-lamb ewes.

On a visit to Australia last spring Mr Gunn, who is a nephew of the well-known Border Leicester breeder, Mr R. S. According to the stud stock department of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association of Canterbury, Ltd., they stood up to the journey well.
