ARREST MADE Breaking, Entering Charges

A man is to face a charge of breaking and entering the offices of the Lyttelton Harbour Board, in the Christchurch Transport Board’s building in Cathedral square, during the week-end, m the Magistrate’s Court this morning. The man was arrested late yesterday afternoon by ActingDetectives Harris and Charlton of the Criminal Investigation Branch of the police. In addition to the present charge, the man will subsequently face other breaking and entering charges.

About £8 in cash and a tape recorder valued at £125 were stolen when the Harbour Board’s offices were broken into.
