THIRD DAY TODAY
Chateau May Win (From Our Own Reporter) BLENHEIM, May S. Chateau, which will probab. y be improved by her win In the .tfarl- , borough Cup on Thursday, appears to have prospects of completing a double for the meeting in the Richmond Brook Handicap, first leg of the double on the third day of the Marlborough meeting tomorrow. Goldwyn, Scuppered, and Beau Ray are form candidates which should again acquit themselves creditably. With better luck in the running than he received yesterday, Fulgent would have bright prospects of reaching a place. Shoal, which has not pleased her * owner-trainer on the trip, was scratched today. Appreciate, which has been rehandicapped 101 b for his win yesterday, may not find the additional weight a bar to success in the Seymour Handicap, the second leg of the double. Vita Glow has run two good races at the meeting, and a win for her would be well deserved. Assembly will probably be improved by yesterday ’s race and may run on better on a track which is certain to be to his liking. The weather In Blenheim today is fine, but there is very little likelihood of the track drying. It was soaked by torrential rain which began after the last race yesterday and continued until early this morning.
