Ward To Ride N.Z. Stablemates

(N.Z. Press Association Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 3. Arthur Ward has been engaged to ride the New Zealand stablemates. Field Chief and Lochie, at Randwick tomorrow. Field Chief is to run in the City Tattersails* Handicap and Lochie in the Club Welter Handicap. The leading Sydney jockey, Neville Sellwood, rode Field Chief at his only other two starts in Australia. Jack O’Sullivan will be a new rider for the New Zealand horse, Decisive, in the City Tattersails’ Handicap. The New Zealand jockey, R. J. Skelton, has ridden Decisive in most of his races since he arrived from New Zealand. The field for the City Tattersails’ Handicap is:—rLlanisfair (6), G. Moore, 9-2: Field Chief (5), A. Ward, 8-12; Lindbergh (1), R. Selkrig, 8-2: Cambridge (3), N. McGrowdie, 7-12; Decisive (2), J. O’Sullivan, 7-12; Ruthless Don (4), R. George, 7-0.
