NEW NAVAL FIGHTER IN FLIGHT—The Sea Vixen, the new ail-weather fighter for the Royal Navy, pictured in flight during trials. This new de Haviliand D.H.110 aircraft is powered by two Rolls-Royce Avon engines, the performance of which is still secret. The aircraft will ultimately take over from the Sea Venom as the Royal Navy’s primary allweather fighter. Its main armament will be guided weapons.
