PILOT KILLED

Crash At Home Of Princess Royal LEEDS (Yorkshire), April 12. A Royal Air Force two-seater trainer today crashed in the grounds of Harewood House, the country home of the Princess. Royal, the aunt of the Queep. The pilot was killed. The Princess Royal and her eldest son. the Earl of Harewood, and his wife, are at present in residence at Harewood House. The plane crashed about 200 yards from the house.

Nobody in Harewood House heard the crash, and the Princess Royal and the Countess of Harewood were informed lateY.

The plane, a Chipmunk, is believed to have struck one of the tall oak trees bordering a lake in the grounds. The dead pilot is Cadet D. E. Young of Camberwell, London.
