DRAMA LEAGUE FESTIVAL
NATIONAL CONTEST FOR TIMARU (New Zealand Press /Association) WELLINGTON, March 11. The British Drama League is to hold a national festival at Timaru on September 12 and 13 next year. This was decided at the annual conference of the league’s national council during the week-end. The North Island eliminations will be held at Hamilton and Wanganui, and the South Island eliminations at Oamaru and Invercargill, all in August. The conference decided to investigate the possibility of holding a competition for the writing of children’s plays.
