MOTOR CAMP AT KAIRAKI

MEDICAL OFFICER’S REPORT SOUGHT

Action on an application from the Kaiapoi Borough Council for a provisional licence for a camping area at Kairaki was deferred by the Rangiora County Council at its meeting yesterday, pending a medical officer’s report. The county clerk (Mr S. G. Dailey) said that the sanitary inspector had advised that there was not enough information provided to warrant the issue of even a provisional licence. The inspector thought the whole area should be cleared out for a proper survey, said Mr Dailey.
