EDEN ILL AGAIN
Recurrence Of Be ver
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 8. Sir Anthony Eden had an attack of high fever last night and was unable to fly from’ “Wenderholme,” Waiwera, to Otehei Bay this morning, as planned. A medical bulletin issued by his consulting physician. Dr. W. E. Henley, tonight, said that Sir Anthony Eden’s temperature had fallen during the day, but it was not possible to make any plans until further progress was observed. The fever was similar to the previous attacks in London and on the journey to New Zealand. A bulletin issued earlier by Dr. Henley stated that there was no indication of a recurrence of the abdominal inflammation which occurred a fortnight ago. In the circumstances, it was considered advisable to delay departure for Otehei Bay for the time being. The amphibian aircraft which was to have flown Sir Anthony and Lady Eden north was about to leave Otehei Bay for Waiwera when a radio message was received cancelling the flight. The people ashore were informed and there was considerable disappointment among local residents.
