Showers are predicted for the Woodville District Jockey Club’s meeting tomorrow, but it will take a lot of rain to affect the track, and the going should be good. Big fields of even class are listed in ail events, but most interest will be in a number of prominent performers in the Woodville Cup which have important engagements at the Wellington autumn fixture. Gundar Haegg 2.20 p.m.—County Hack Handicap: Glamin, Lully, Hill Fern. 3.10 p.m.—Ruahine Handicap: New Year's Eve, Nicotian, Jollette. 3.55 p.m.—Borough Hack Handicap: Smitten, Dunray, Crown Seal. 4.40 n.m.—Kumeroa Hack Handicap: Golden Luca, Tarwe, Dancing Odile.
