The weather has been fine and the track will be hard and fast for the second day of the Gore Racing Club’s summer meeting on Saturday. The double will be on the Gore Racine Club Handicap and the Charlton Handicap, for which Flair and Mijiji. the first day’s double winners, will again be the respective favourites. Now Listen is expected to start in the Mataura Senior Hack Handicap in preference to the Farewell Handicap. and Allan in the Mandeville High-weight instead of the Gore Racing Club Handicap.
