BRITISH HOOKER ON TRANSFER LIST (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 9 pm.) LONDON, Jan. 18. Tom McKinney, Britain’s hooker in nine Rugby League test matches against Australia and New Zealand, has been placed on the transfer list by Warrington at a fee of £2OOO. McKinney, who is 29. took over as hooker when Egan retired and was almost an automatic choice until this season, when Harris, of Hull, displaced him for tests against Australia. McKinney was born in Ireland and joined Salford after playing Rugby Union for a Scottish club. Warrington paid £3OOO when they signed him.
