Plebiscite Sought On Kashmir
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, January 17. Pakistan yesterday asked the United Nations Security Council to reiterate the call for a plebiscite to determine the future of Kashmir, over which she is in dispute with India. She also requested the council to call on India not to accept the new Constitution adopted by the Constituent Assembly in Sprinagar, the capital of Kashmir. The Pakistan case was put before the council by Mr Firoz Khan Noon, the Foreign Minister.
