N.Z. COUNCIL’S OFFICERS DECISION ON DOMINION TOURNAMENTS (New Zeaiana Press Association) HAMILTON, January 18. The New Zealand Croquet Council at its annual meeting decided that the Dominion tournament would still be held in two successive years in the North Island and then once in the South Island. The following officers were elected: president, Mrs A. G. Rawlinson (Methven); vice-presidents: North Island, Mesdames G. Savage (Lower Hutt), J. J. Smyth (Auckland), and M. Griffin (Matamata); South Island: Mr E. J. Barron (Invercargill), Mrs G. R. Peake (Christchurch): handicapper, Mr W. H. Kirk; referee, Mrs F. C. Bryan; editor-manager of gazette, Miss D. McKenzie (Wellington); publicity officer, Mrs W. H. Kirk; secretary-treasurer, Miss E. Washer (Hawera).

NEW ZEALAND BEATS THE REST (New Zealand Press Association) HAMILTON, January 18. In a match between a team representing New Zealand croquet representatives and a team of top players who have not yet represented New Zealand today, the New Zealand team won both doubles. F. C. Bryan and A. Geenan (New Zeland) beat Mrs L. Mitchell and Mrs N. Ford (The Rest) by 26 to 4. Kirk and Mrs W. H. Kirk (New Zealand) beat Mrs Wadsworth and Mrs Middlemiss (The Rest) by 26-8.
