Parliamentary Select Committtee has been appointed for the purpose of inquiring into and reporting upon the state and prospects of the winemaking industry of New Zealand, the effect of the present law upon the manufacture, distribution, sale and consumption of New Zealand wine, and any other matters affecting the industry.

The Committee will meet at 10.30 a.m. on Monday, February 18. and on Tuesday, February 19, 1957, in Room 83, Parliament House, Wellington. Any organisation or individual wishing to give evidence should prepare twenty copies of written submissions and communicate in the first instance with the Clerk of the Wine Industry Committee, Parliament House, Wellington, C.l.
