PUBLIC NOTICE IS GIVEN under Section 20 and 21 of the Forest and Rural Fires Act, 1955, that the lighting of fires in the open in the whole of the Cheviot County area is prohibited. While this order is in force no person shall set on fire or cause to be set on fire in the open air any trees, or timber, bracken, gorse, broom, lupins, grass, stubble, or any other plants or debris frorfi forest or land clearing operations, or any other combustible material whatsoever except pursuant to a permit issued by the undersigned.
