N.Z. Appointments At Duntroon

“The Press’ Special Service WELLINGTON, January 16. Five of the seven senior cadet appointments at the Royal Military College, Duntroon, will oe held by New Zealanders this year. This was announced by the Chief of the General Staff (Major-Gen-eral C. E. Weir). The New Zealanders, who are in their graduation year, are five of the 10 from this country who entered Duntroon in 1954. They are Senior Under Officer L J Lynch (Christchurch), who is battalion sergeant-major; Under Officers R. K. Rutherford (Auckland) and B. A. Murphy (Taihape); and Colour Sergeants D. S Mclver (Dargaville) and J. D McGuire (Wellington)
