£400 Stolen From High Street Shop
When members of the staff of Ashby, Bergh and Company, Ltdhardware merchants, returned to work at the firm’s High street shop yesterday morning after the holiday they found . that a safe had been blown open and about £4OO in money had been stolen. Entry was gained through a wooden skylight on the roof of the two-storey building. The safe was in a storeroom on the ground floor.
