Mixed Voting for Last Time.— The coming Provincial Council by-election in Uitenhage (South Africa) will be an historic occasion—it will be the last time that coloureds in the Cape Province will be able to vote together with the Europeans. The validation by the Appeal Court qf the Senate Act cleared the way for the eventual removal of the coloured voters from the common roll.—Cape Town (Reuter).
