Birks will succeed him Sir William Cunningham, who has been Crown Prosecutor since 1936, has had a distinguished legal and military career.—(P.A.)

The appointment of Mr William Morrissey Milliken, a former New Zealand and Auckland University Rugby representative, as an assistant registrar of Auckland University College has been announced. He will succeed Mr G. G. Turbott. who held the position since late in 1951, and is now registrar of Canterbury University College.
