Japan’s Steel Imports.— The Japanese Ministry of Trade announced today that it had decided to authorise additional imports of 200,000 tons of steel under the import budget for the October-March period. The planned imports will be in addition to 450,000 tons totalling 76m dollars already approved under the same budget.—Tokyo, December 20.
