HEAVY BOOKINGS FOR HOLIDAYS

Passenger bookings on the interisland steamers between Lyttelton and Wellington are extremely heavy for the next few days. Tomorrow special daylight trips will be run, the Maori leaving Lyttelton in the morning for Wellington and the Hinemoa makimz a trip from Wellington to Lyttelton. The Hinemoa will arrive at 6 p.m., and sail again for Wellington on the arrival of the 7.37 p.m. train. The Maori will sail from Wellington tomorrow night and will remain at Lyttelton on Sunday, sailing that even-

ing for Wellington. The Hinemoa will leave Wellington on Sunday evening and is due at Lyttelton on Monday morning. Thereafter normal running will be resumed until January, when extra trips will again be run.
