PUKEKO SOLD
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 20. The 738-ton coaster, Pukeko, has been sold by Richardson and Company, Ltd., of Napier, to a Hong Kong shipping firm. She has been on the New Zealand coastal service since 1928, trading mostly between the east coast ports of the North Island. Auckland, and Portland. A Chinese crew will fly out from Hong Kong to join the ship in Auckland.
