Museum Director’s Lectures.— The Director of the Canterbury Museum (Dr. Roger Duff) gave about 60 lectures in the last year to audiences from Oamaru to Blenheim. They were given to parent-teacher associations, schools, clubs, and workmen on the new museum building. He described this programme as “important to the museum’s public relations while the galleries are closed,” but “strenuous,” when he reported to the Museum Trust Board. The board thanked Dr. Duff for his lecturing work.
