MELBOURNE, November 21. Rising Fast will bow out of racing next Saturday to the tune of "Now Is The Hour.”

Rising Fast will give an exhibition gallop at Moonee Valley before being decorated with a garland of flowers —a horseshoe of roses, tulips, and other expensive blooms.

The secretary of the Melbourne Racing Club (Mr John Reilly) said last night that the band would play ‘•Now Is The Hour” as Rising Fast was being draped with his floral horse-

The New Zealand-bred and owned champion was retired after he had finished fifth to Sailor’s Guide in the weight-for-age C. B. Fisher Plate at Flemington last Saturday. His owner, Mr L. R. Spring, will not see Rising Fast’s farewell because he is booked to leave for New Zealand today.
