CHRISTIAN SCIENCE SERVICE

Spontaneous expressions of gratitude for God's goodness will be featured at the Thanksgiving service of the First Church of Christ, Scientist. on its Thanksgiving Day. The service is open to the public and local church members have invited everyone to attend. Voluntary testimonials from the floor will include gratitude for spiritual growth, physical healings and other blessings. A Lesson-Sermon for the day. entitled ‘‘Thanksgiving.” will emphasise the importance of living one's gratitude to God. To be read in all Christian Science churches, the Lesson-Sermon will consist of selections from the King James Version ot the Bible and from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy.
