LINCOLN COLLEGE GOVERNORS

Re-election Of Two Members Two sitting members of the board of governors of Canterbury Agricultural College. Lincoln, were declared re-elected unopposed yesterday by the returning officer (Mr H. G. Hunt) They are Mr R. G. Gerard, M.P., elected by Canterbury members of Parliament, and Mr R. H. Bevin elected by graduates of the University of New Zealand whose names are on the books of the college, and by holders of diplomas granted by the college. Mr Gerard has been a member of the board of governors since 1951, and Mr Bevin since lf*ss, when he was elected to fill a casual vacancy caused by the death of Mr C. C. Leitch. Both members have been elected for a term of three years from January, 1957.
