The winning double. Single Derby and Onward Peter, paid £53 16s for £l. The totalisator on-course handled £16,746 10s, compared with £21,835 10s last year. At the conclusion of the President’s Handicap, Rodger was disqualified for galloping inside the last furlong. Rodger finished third, and this placing was awarded Lady Pippin. Fast Change, which refused to take part in the Bebbington Handicap, was barred from starting at a totalisator meeting lor two months.
