AUCKLAND, September 21. mere was enormous potential business in frozen foods, and New Zealand because of her favourable climate and soil, had prospects of considerable export markets, said the chairman of directors of the Tip Top Ice Cream Company (Auckland), Ltd. (Mr A. E. Hayman) at the annual meeting of shareholders this afternoon. The growth of the frozen food industry all over the civilised world was one of the most significant revolutions of modern times, he said. It was changing the eating habits of whole nations. In New Zealand the revolution was well under way and the consumption of frozen peas was already higher a head than in Britain, In spite of home gardening. Tip Top, in the first trading year of its new subsidiary, General Food (N.Z ), Ltd., had grown into the largest broker-distributor of frozen foods in New Zealand, said Mr Hayman. The company was already exporting frozen vegetables to Australia. It was determined to exploit to the full the

particular advantages the industry had in the new field. 1 Mr Hayman said that Tip Top foresaw many new additions to the food service already existing.
