(N.Z Presn Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Aug. 26. The £620.000 new stand at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, main venue for the Olympic Games, was used yesterday for the first time. About 80.000 spectators watched an Australian rules football game at the stadium, which now has a 120,000 capacity. Delegates from Germany and Communist China, which are on an inspection tour of games venues, attended the match and said later they vere very impressed with the stadium.
