REMANDED John Joseph Brien, aged 53. a boilermaker. charged with false pretences in obtaining from Ernest Hulan Waters the sum of £ll by falsely representing that a cheque signed J. J. Brien was a good and valid order, was remanded to next Thursday.

Bail was allowed in the sum of £lO and one surety of £lO.
