Another Win For Vodka In U.S.
The New Zealand trotter Vodka won his second race from three starts at Vernon Downs, New York, on Tuesday evening, according to 9 cable received by Mrs J. S. Shaw from her husband, who is campaigning the horse in the U.S.A.
Vodka trotted the mile in 2min 3sec, three seconds faster than the time he recorded last Friday. Vodka has been nominated for the 20.000-dollar Rochester Trophy to be run at Batavia Downs, New York State, on September 9.
