(Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.) q- wn- T LONDON, June 8. oir William Jordan was welcomed by the Lieutenant-Colonel B. J. F Malcomson. Master o' the Girdlers Company when he was a guest at the Armourers Hall. Sir Wi fam Jordan; who is a member of the company, was able to see the Master’s chair which he gave the Girdlers in 1954 to replace the one lost when the Girdlers Hall d ® s t ro y e< * by fire during the war. ine chair is made of v ' ite kauri, upholstered in blue leather. Its carving mcorporates a kiwi, a lion, and a silver fern.
