TRAP SHOOTING
WAIHORA GUN CLUB The Waihora Gun Club held its opening day shoot recently. There were good shooting conditions, and scoring was high for the main events/ the £lO trophy match and the J. H. Hayes rose bowl. Results were:— Five target sweep: possibles were shot by L. Eden. L. Lanauze. C. Malzard, I Smith, J. T. Parkin, H. Hatchard, T. Gebbie, L. Blatchford, S: Henderson A Matson. L. Bennett, J. Brightling, F. Radford. and J. T. Matson. £lO trophy match of 15 targets: five shooters shot possibles and were placed in shoots off as follows: T. Gebbie 1, A Tomson 2. E. Hammond 3, L. Bennett 4 J. Brightling 5. J. H. Hayes rose bowl, 15 targets: possibles were shot by H. Hatchard, L. Bennett, W. H. H. Walker, and B. G Begg In the shoot-off. Begg won at the sixteenth round from H. Hatchard. First miss out sweep: Begg won at the fifteenth round from L. Bennett.
