P. Shand) today. “Previously. New Zealand was fifth, just behind Switzerland. “New Zealand moved slightly ahead of Switzerland during the last year. “The United States leads the world with 32.21 telephones for each 100 of population.’’ Mr Shand said. “Then follow Sweden (28.99), Canada (25.85». New Zealand (23.29), and Switzerland (23.06). “Australia has only 16.84 for each 100, and the Soviet has 0.52,” Mr Shand said. x
