The first and second heats of the No. 13 club race were sailed on Victoria Lake by the Christchurch Model Yacht Club. There was a light north-easterly wind. Results:— First Heat.—Red Shadow, F. Gray (6min 20sec), 34min 41sec, 1; Lark, M. Turner (lOmin), 42min 29sec, 2; Venus, Miss Rae Turner (smin 35sec), 40min 43sec, 3; Marlin, A. K. Perkins (7min 15sec). 41mm 33sec. 4: Kia Ora, N. Porter (7min 45sec). 45min 16sec. 5. Second Heat.—Marlin. 40min 34sec, 1: Red Shadow, 34min 50sec, 2; Lark, 45mm 31sec, 3; Alone, W. Schenkel (2min), 42min 29sec. 4; Venus, 48min 33sec. 5.
