RUGBY FOOTBALL
TECHNICAL CLUB Mr H. A. Smith, who has been an active member of the Technical Old Boys' Rugby Football Club since 1923, was elected an honorary life member at the annual meeting. Opening day was fixed for March 24. The following officers were elected:— Patrons, Mr D. W. k.yall. Dr. D. E. Hansen; president, Mr VV D. Johnston; vicepresidents, 10 were elected; club captain, Mr E. Ormandy; vice-captain, Mr L. J. Russell; secretary-treasurer, Mr S. M. Smith; auditor, Mr A. Heybourn; delegates to Canterbury Rugby Union, Messrs H. Smith, H. Yates. C. Richards. W. Johnston; delegate to Past and Senior Students’ Association, Mr K. Wilson; trustees. Messrs R. T. Burgess. D. N. Woodham, S. M. Smith; general committee. Messrs W. Young. . Hill,. I. Morris, N. Teague. B. Arthur. D. Young. A. Boyce. K. Foster; selectors, Messrs W. D. Johnston, F. R. Jones, and L. J. Russell.
