PIGEON FLYING

T. Ball was the only owner to have two birds finish in race time in the East Christchurch Racing Pigeon Club’s twobird race from Gisborne. The team won the club trophy for the race and also a cup for the hardest race of the season. North Island weather conditions were most unfavourable, and team’s average time was 26hr 29min. It was the last race of the season.
