CHILD BITTEN ON FACE BY DOG

(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, December 9. I Peter Love, aged two years and a half, a son of Mr and Mrs J. H. Love. 'of Marsden road, Greymouth, suffered I severe blifes to the face when he was .attacked by a dog outside the Chief Post Office, at Greymouth. The child had been in the Post Office with his sister and mother and was playing with his sister when the dog snapped at his face. A person who saw the dog spring at the child drove it off. The child was immediately taken to a nearby surgery where several stitches were inserted in the wounds. The matter was later reported to the police.
