NEW MEMBER OF N.Z. PLAYERS
Mr Redmond Phillips, a New Zealander who has been a member of the Birmingham Repertory Theatre for the last five years, will join the New Zealand Players for the 1958 season. He will arrive in New Zealand towards the end of January. An. original member of the Wellington Thespians and a script writer of some of Victoria University College’s most successful extravaganzas, Mr Phillips went to Australia in 1937. There he was a script writer for the Australian Broadcasting Service J? r £ t s ain . he was for a time‘with the Nottingham Repertory Company before he joined the Birmingham theatre.
